A gorgeous hidden gem just 8.5 miles from the cabin. This short walk drops you to one of Menifee County's most beloved waterfalls — lush, serene, and easy enough for the whole group. Best visited after rainfall for full flow. Year-round access.

A short but steep climb to a historic fire lookout tower in Daniel Boone National Forest. Panoramic views of the forest canopy and Cave Run Lake below make this one of the most rewarding short hikes in the region. Highly recommended at sunset.

The most popular difficult trail right in Wellington. Ancient caves, towering rock formations, waterfall views, and an old pine forest where black bears may be spotted. Several steep scrambling sections — sturdy footwear required. Not for beginners, but unforgettable.

A beautiful shoreline trail that follows the edge of Cave Run Lake through the Pioneer Weapons Wildlife Management Area. Perfect for wildlife spotting — bald eagles are frequently sighted here. Connects with the Zilpo Recreation Trail for longer routes.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome for an additional fee — please mention in your booking notes. If a dog is found on beds or furniture, a $125 cleaning fee applies.
